And there's nothing that makes me feel more at home in a game than fishing, farming, and cooking, and they're all great in Core Keeper. Fishing works almost like a rhythm game, with each fish struggling to its own "beat.

When you fought Glurch, you may have noticed a bunch of orange slime on the ground. This is not just an environmental hazard — these tiles cause enemies to spawn.

There is armor in this game, but I never felt excited to find a new armor. You would get a higher hp value, a higher armor value, maybe a slight damage increase and occasionally it would be a 2-3-4item set that was often not even worth using. I would often find weapons and armor that were clearly a massive jump in player strength, but only in a numbers sense. This is all to say, the weapon and armor progression feels too disjointed and is not something that I looked forward to due to the boring nature of these "upgrades".

Killing Glurch spawns a chest with a few random items and a crystal. Take all Core Keeper Gameplay of the items (and the chest!), then put the crystal in Glurch's statue near the Core. This will partially power the Core and open up a few new crafting recipes at the Glurch statue.
